Air fryers have become the latest kitchen sensation, offering a faster and more convenient cooking method that’s winning over families everywhere.

With so many brands vying for attention, it can be quite the challenge to select the cream of the crop. Ninja, despite being on the pricier side, has gained a reputation for producing some of the finest air fryers around, as evidenced by the tonnes of glowing reviews on its website. Ninja’s own research also suggest that its air fryers could lead to energy savings when compared to traditional oven cooking.

The Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer is one of the brand’s most popular, with Ninja saying that it can whip up fish fingers and sausages a whopping 75% quicker than your standard oven (pre-heating included). Its studies further suggest that an air fryer could “save up to 65% on energy bills” when rustling up sausages, in contrast with a fan oven.

While the Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer is reduced on the Ninja website, down from £229.99 to £179.99, bargain hunters will be thrilled to find that Amazon has slashed the price even further.

Right now, Amazon is tempting shoppers with the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer at a reduced rate of £170.12, which translates to a hefty 26% discount. And if you’re one to keep an eye on deals, Camelcamelcamel confirms this is the lowest price the gadget has seen on Amazon this year.

The Ninja Foodi MAX air fryer, praised for its dual cooking zones that let different dishes be prepared at the same time, has been making waves, according to the Daily Record.

With six versatile cooking functions – max crisp, air fry, roast, bake, reheat and dehydrate – this gadget is revolutionising kitchen counters by delivering a range of culinary possibilities, from crisping frozen goodies to warming up last night’s dinner. Moreover, Ninja says it slashes fat usage by up to 75% on its air frying setting.

Ideal for either meal prep aficionados or hosting duties, the air fryer’s large size can whip up eight servings in one go, fitting either 1.4kg of fries or 2kg of chicken effortlessly into each compartment.

It comes with two non-stick, dishwasher-safe 4.75-litre drawers and crisper plates to make the clean-up as breezy as the cooking process.

With an impressive 4.8 out of five-star rating from a massive 38,960 Amazon reviews, the Ninja Foodi MAX has won over users, one of whom exclaimed: “The best thing about this product is that it pays for itself through energy savings.”

Another customer couldn’t contain their excitement: “This air fryer is very good! I’d heard great things about Ninja products and this one totally lives up to the hype. It’s nice to be able to cook two things at once with different settings. It’s so convenient, cooks food way faster than my oven.”

“The product arrived promptly and in great condition. I use this every day. It is so easy to navigate and easy to clean. Food comes out tasty, especially the veggies,” wrote another thrilled buyer.

However, some customers haven’t been completely impressed with the air fryer. One dissatisfied consumer reported: “It’s not much bigger than the 300 but has better capacity, so it’s useful for larger families. However, the controls are hard to see and use.”

Nevertheless, there’s a whole host of other air fryers vying for attention on the market, including more pocket-friendly versions with solid reputations.

Debenhams offers a bargain with the Geepas 9.2L Air Fryer that has five-in-one functions for a tempting £52.58. The device comes with an easy-to-use interactive touchscreen, nine established cooking programs, and a spacious 9.2L non-stick container.

For those who fancy a less expensive Ninja alternative, the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer could be the way to go. Sold directly by Ninja and on sale at £149, this variant features six distinct cooking modes, separate cooking compartments, a roomy 7.6L size, and claims energy savings on your oven bills by up to 75% (as determined by Ninja’s own independent research).
