The high street store has impressed homeware shoppers with the cleaning tool

Shoppers have been raving about a low-cost Dunelm buy that could be a handy fix for cramped kitchens and bathrooms. The popular high street store is stocking a popular cleaning item.

The high street homeware chain is selling a Collapsible Bucket for £4, and customers say it makes everyday tasks simpler while reducing clutter. The design folds down when you’re finished, so it can be tucked away instead of taking up precious floor or cupboard space. Dunelm describes the bucket as having a ‘versatile and space-saving design’, ideal for washing up and for carrying water from room to room when you’re cleaning.

It comes with a handle for easier carrying. The retailer says the materials are durable and that, once the job is done, you can store it neatly out of sight — a feature that appears to be striking a chord with buyers.

The bucket has built up a stack of glowing feedback, with more than 80 five-star reviews. Posting their review, one happy customer said: “These buckets are fantastic – very strong, durable, and built to last. Perfect for any job, and they hold up brilliantly over time. Highly recommended!”

A second reviewer replied: “Pleased with this bucket, it does what it says on the tin – carries water, collapses, what more can you say!” Another response read: “I needed to tidy my under sink cupboard and thought it would be useful to have a bucket that could be stored without taking up loads of room so decided to give this one a try. It is compact when collapsed but still sturdy enough to hold a decent amount of water.”

Meanwhile, a customer wrote: “Bucket is amazing, sturdy and so handy because it can be closed up to put away. Handy for camping too. Very well made. Happy with purchase.”

Someone else praised: “Good quality bucket. Ideal for cleaning around the house stays up as long as you don’t catch it while moving around full of water, good value for the price.”

Elsewhere, Argos sells the Beldray 10 Litre Collapsible Bucket for £7. So there are plenty of budget-friendly options for shoppers.

The product description said: “Keep cleaning gear organised without losing valuable cupboard space. This collapsible bucket from Beldray pops up when you need it and folds flat when you’re done, making it brilliant for smaller bathrooms, utility rooms, or anywhere storage is tight.

“With a generous 10L capacity, it handles mopping, cleaning or even a quick car wash, and the polypropylene frame makes it both sturdy and flexible. It’s break-resistant and built to handle everyday use without cracking or splitting, so you can fill it, carry it, and store it away with confidence.”
