Argos shoppers rushing to buy LEGO Batman Legacy of Dark Knight with 20% saving | Gaming | Entertainment

Outside of GTA 6 and perhaps Marvel’s Wolverine, LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The game shares similarities with Rocksteady’s Arkham trilogy, featuring a big open-world, a punchy combat system, plus a heap of puzzles, stealth and Batman easter eggs. Add in the tongue-in-cheek humour the LEGO series is famous for, and you can see why fans are clamouring for the May 22 release date. Unfortunately, however, LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight isn’t cheap, especially if you purchase a digital copy from the PlayStation or Xbox digital storefronts. It’s actually much cheaper if you’re willing to grab a physical copy, with Argos shoppers able to save 20% by buying the game on disc compared to the PlayStation Store.

Considering the Standard Edition costs a mighty £59.99 on the PlayStation and Xbox stores, that’s a considerable 20% saving.

Interestingly, despite not launching for another couple of weeks or so, the physical version appears to be selling very well at Argos.

The PS5 version is listed as ‘Trending’, ‘Popular’ and ‘Selling Fast’, with hundreds of views in the past 24 hours.

With this in mind, it might be worth ordering sooner rather than later if you want to guarantee a copy for launch.

LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight is an open-world action game set on the streets of Gotham.

The story follows Batman as he trains with the League of Shadows and combats all of the villains the series is famous for.

It features seven playable characters, including Batman, Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul.

Needless to say, each character has their own set of skills and gadgets that can be used to bring peace to Gotham.

Like past LEGO games, it also features a ton of unlockables, including around 100 Suits from the entire history of Batman.
