Lidl has announced the launch of a kitchen device that crams 15 different cooking functions into one sleek machine. Some shoppers will be able to get their hands on one before they hit the shop shelves – and at a cheaper price too – if they follow a few simple steps.

Designed to ‘do it all’, the Monsieur Cuisine Smart is said to be the ‘ultimate’ all-rounder, combining 15 different cooking functions into one single kitchen gadget. With ‘innovative technology‘, Lidl says the device combines different attachments such as a cooking pot, mixer, steamer and more, with 10 speed settings and automatic programs for kneading, roasting and more.

Cutting down cooking steps and saving space, Lidl adds that the ‘smart kitchen assistant‘ allows everything from ‘delicious fresh dishes’ to’ scrumptious baked goods’ to be prepared quickly and easily, taking the pressure off everyday life. The Monsieur Cuisine Smart comes with 600 pre-installed recipes, voice control, and automatic programs for kneading, steaming, roasting and more.

Each recipe has been carefully curated with step-by-step instructions, accessible via the machine’s 8-inch touchscreen display. You can choose how many portions you would like to prepare for selected recipes, ideal for big crowds, family meals, or smaller servings.

What can Lidl’s Monsieur Cuisine Smart do:

  1. Weigh
  2. Mix
  3. Steam
  4. Stir
  5. Knead
  6. Chop
  7. Cook
  8. Sear
  9. Emulsify
  10. Puree
  11. Sous Vide
  12. Roast
  13. Shred
  14. Grind
  15. Boil

Described by the budget brand as a “culinary powerhouse”, the £299 device will be available to reserve online via the supermarket’s Click, Reserve, Collect service. Ordering one online will be the best way for Lidl Plus shoppers to make the most of their money, with the non-Lidl Plus price being £399.

The Monsieur Cuisine Smart will be available to Click, Reserve, and Collect exclusively via the Lidl Plus app from Thursday, August 21. It will then arrive in Lidl’s famous middle aisle nationwide in stores from Thursday, September 4, while stocks last.

Lidl stressed on its website that customers will be restricted to a maximum of five units per customer. Shoppers must reserve their Monsieur Cuisine Smart between August 21 and 25.

Collection must take place at your chosen store during opening hours on or between August 29 and September 1. To complete the collection, a valid reservation number must be presented.

Meanwhile, shoppers can take advantage of a range of bargain items in the Middle of Lidl until the arrival of this kitchen tool in September. Looking online, shoppers can see that the discount supermarket has offers on plants, clothes, bathroom essentials and more.

Signing up for Lidl Plus is free and takes minutes online. Without setting up an account beforehand, shoppers will not be eligible for the £100 discount on the device.
