Baldur’s Gate is FREE with your Amazon Prime subscription in July | Gaming | Entertainment

Amazon Prime customers will be treated to a bumper selection of free games in July. Amazon Prime is best known for giving subscribers next-day delivery and access to hundreds of films and TV shows via Prime Video. There are, however, lots of lesser-known bonuses available with your subscription, including free games and in-game items on a monthly basis. The Amazon Prime Gaming line-up for July is looking particularly impressive, with more than 20 games available over the course of the month. While there are free games available every month, subscribers can access more games than ever in July, as Amazon gives away additional releases in the run up to Prime Day on July 16.

The free game giveaways have started early for July, as Deceive Inc, Tearstone, The Invisible Hand, Call of Juarez and Forager join the line-up.

That’s on top of a free code for the excellent Card Shark, which sees players attempt to outwit characters using a selection of card tricks in a compelling single-player adventure.

Other games available now include Heaven Dust 2 and Soulstice, the latter of which is described as a “coming-of-age dark fantasy story with fast-paced action”.

New games will join the service on July 3, when Wall World, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood and stealth action game Hitman Absolution come to Prime Gaming.

It only gets better from here, as wonderful beat-em-up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge joins the line-up on July 11, alongside Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX and Samurai Bringer.

Developed by Obsidian, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 is an absolute classic, featuring a complex story full of choices that change the way the narrative plays out.

Three more games join Amazon Prime Gaming on July 18, including influencer sim Youtubers Life 2, as well as unique action game Maneater, which lets players control a shark.

Arguably the highlight of the month, however, is Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition, which includes the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion.

With Baldur’s Gate 3 proving so popular when it launched last year, this is your chance to explore the series’ roots and see where it all began.

Next month’s free game giveaways end on July 25, when Cat Quest II, Midnight Fight Express and Masterplan Tycoon all join the line-up.

Midnight Fight Express is a really entertaining action game, featuring a similar combat system to the Batman Arkham games, only with a much different viewpoint and graphical style.

The games will be available to download via a combination of the Epic Games Store, GOG and the Amazon App. Visit the Prime Gaming page to find out more.
