PS Plus March 2025 free PS4 and PS5 games reveal date is sooner than expected | Gaming | Entertainment

PS Plus subscribers shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to find out which PS4 and PS5 games are coming to the service in March.

Because of the way the dates fall, and the fact that February is a shorter month, the next wave of PlayStation Plus Essentials will be revealed next week.

Indeed, the PS Plus Essentials will be officially unveiled by Sony at 4.30pm GMT UK time on the afternoon of February 26. The games will be available to redeem and install the following week, specifically on the morning of March 4.

Fans will be hoping for a better selection of games than the February line-up, which was a little underwhelming.

The February PS Plus Essentials are headlined by multiplayer-focused heist shooter Payday 3.

While the developer has made improvements since the game launched back in 2023, Payday 3 currently has a mixed rating on Steam, with only 61% positive reviews. It’s a far cry from its predecessor, which is one of the more popular co-operative shooters of modern times.

The game shifts the action to New York City, where the Payday gang has come out of retirement to pull a host of new jobs.

The game can be played solo, but is best played with friends, as you plan heists, steal loot, upgrade your arsenal and earn new skills.

Payday 3 is joined by the vastly superior High on Life, which blends comedy with first-person shooting action.

From the co-creator of Rick and Morty, High on Life features talking guns, an alien drug cartel and intergalactic bounty hunting.

Unlike Payday 3 and its mixed rating, High on Life has a very positive user score on Steam, earning 91% positive feedback from players.

Fans who enjoy High on Life can purchase separate DLC for the game, titled High on Knife. The add-on sees players attempt to track down a mysterious package.

The third and final game in the PS Plus line-up for February is entertaining platformer Pac-Man World: Re-Pac.

The game features multiple themed stages and varied gameplay styles, as Pac-Man visits Ghost Island, solves puzzles and completes 3D mazes.

Daily Express will be back with the PS Plus predictions this weekend, as well as the full reveal next week.
