The surprise hit of 2024, Helldivers 2 continues to ride the wave of momentum with another big new update that fans have been clamouring for. The next major Helldivers 2 update will introduce some big new features, including the addition of visible supply lines to help players collectively plan their next moves. Supply lines were previously only visible with the help of a fan-made website, which wasn’t common knowledge to the more casual player. The Helldivers 2 Supply Lines update has a June 13 release date on PS5 and PC via Steam. There’s no official release time, but past updates have typically dropped at around 10am BST UK time, so don’t be surprised if this one follows the same launch schedule.

In addition to visible Supply Lines, the new update will revert Patrols and spawn rates, while also making Super Samples available at level six.

Fans will also be pleased to hear that Arrowhead is introducing invite-only lobbies, which is ideal for established squads.

Needless to say, Arrowhead will also make more than 100 bug fixes and balance tweaks, which should improve the overall user experience.

The only bad news is that this is likely to be the game’s last major update for the immediate future.

That’s according to a post by Arrowhead on X. “You’ve probably noticed we’ve slowed our cadence of patches,” reads a developer post.

“Similar to our future approach to Warbonds, this is so we can dedicate more time to each patch to reduce the pressure on our teams, dig into your feedback more and deliver higher quality patches.

“We’re very aware that going from quick, small patches to slower, bigger patches means your expectations are higher.

“While we think the next patch is strong, with lots of bug fixes & requested features, we’re definitely not resting on our laurels or being complacent.

“We’ll continue delivering patches and content that squash bugs and evolve the game. And, most importantly, evolve the game WITH our players and community.”

You can check out the early patch notes below, and remember to check back for the full list of patch notes on June 13.

Check out the early Helldivers 2 patch notes below…

• Visible supply lines

• Patrols and spawn rates reverted

• Invite-only lobbies
