Dusk is celebrating its 10th birthday, marking a decade since the brand first launched, becoming a full-home decor destination retailer. At IndyBest we’ve come to know the brand for its great value furniture and homeware, having tested everything from Dusk beds and sofas to mattresses, dining furniture and bedding.

It’s one of the few home retailers where you’ll find trend-led, affordable interiors, from armchairs starting from £100 to bed frames from £150.

If it’s your first time shopping with Dusk and you’re not sure where to start, we’ve rounded up some of its bestselling products below. Some of the products featured are ones we’ve tested and reviewed ourselves, giving us a chance to share our first-hand experience, plus we’ve included pieces that have proved popular with Dusk customers.

From award-winning furniture to cosy bedding, these are some of the Dusk products worth knowing about as the brand enters its second decade.

Our favourite Dusk products

(Sarah Jones/The Independent)

The Wiltshire ottoman storage bed was awarded the best stylish option in our guide to the best storage beds. Noting that it “punches well above its price point,” IndyBest assistant editor Sarah Jones was impressed by the luxurious look and feel of this bed. She added: “Overall build quality is impressive, from the upholstered finish to the supportive slatted base, and it feels robust and well made once assembled.”

(Lucy Smith/The Independent)

When reviewed as part of our guide to the best mattresses, the Dusk memory foam 2,000 pocket sprung hybrid mattress was deemed the best budget option. Ideal for all sleepers in all positions, it’s price makes it an affordable option for anyone looking to upgrade. In her full review, Lucy Smith wrote: “Given that I’ve now slept on it for two years, I feel informed enough to let you know that this mattress is not a disappointing case of price over quality. Instead, what you’re looking at is a bona fide entry-level mattress with enough support and comfort to make it appealing beyond its low cost.”

While we haven’t tested the three-seater sofa ourselves, we have tested the two-seater, and it seriously impressed our team. A “classic design that looks chic”, this sofa comes with “seat cushions [that] are extremely comfortable and don’t lose their shape or softness,” said IndyBest reviewer Sarah Michael. And if you’re drawn to the ivory colour but fear messes or spills, our reviewer can put these worries aside, writing: “The couple of times I’ve had a minor spill or noticed a dirt patch on the side I’ve been able to wipe it off easily with some warm water and soap.”

(Dusk)

The Hampshire range has also impressed our testing team. The chaise version of this sofa was tested by reviewer Ali Howard in our guide to the best corner sofas. She called the Hampshire sofa a “triumph of both form and function.” She added: “The soft, neutral fabric adds a touch of warmth and sophistication, while the robust frame ensures durability.”

She also noted the sofa’s ease of assembly, calling it an excellent choice if you’re looking for style and practicality.

((Emily Peck/The Independent))

“You’ll be spoilt for choice for dining chair designs over on the Dusk website,” writes Emily Peck in her guide to the best dining chairs, adding that ultimately, the Jade dining chair steals the show for being the easiest to handle. She wrote: “It’s lightweight and therefore a breeze to carry, but it still has that expensive wood feel as it’s so solid and well built. Its legs smoothly slide in and out from the table without scraping the floor too, which is testament to how well it’s designed.”

(Dusk)

The Hattie dining range adds a touch of contemporary style to dining room. The Hattie panel round pedestal dining table can sit between four and six people, and comes with a natural, solid wood effect veneer. When interiors expert Ali Howard tested the oval version of this table in her review of the best dining tables, she wrote that it felt “more relaxed than your standard rectangle dining table.”

She added that the size, catering for up to six people, makes it a great option for flexibility. without the need for an extendable table.

More popular products from Dusk

(Dusk)

It’s clear we’re already fans of the 2,000 pocket sprung version of this mattress, so it’s no surprise the higher count version is one of Dusk’s most popular products. It combines two layers of pocket springs with memory foam to give a medium-firm support, according to the brand. It’s 31cm deep, has a knitted cover, and handles on each side that make it easy for rotating. It also comes with a 100-night sleep trial, so you can have plenty of time to sleep on it and make sure it’s the right fit for you.

(Dusk)

This pair of duck feather and down pillows is filled with 90 per cent duck feather and 10 per cent duck down, with a 100 per cent cotton percale cover for a soft, comfortable finish. They’re available in soft, medium or firm support, with both standard and super king sizes to choose from. We’re already a big fan of Dusk’s sleep products, so these pillows would make a perfect companion alongside one of the brand’s tried and tested mattresses.

(Dusk)

The Monaco towel collection is made from 100 per cent cotton with a ribbed design and 500gsm finish. They’re made from a zero-twist construction, which Dusk says should make the towels more absorbent and quick-drying. In the six-piece bundle you’ll get two face cloths, two hand towels and two bath towels.

We’ve tested Dusk’s Tahiti super absorbent towel collection in our guide to the best bath towels, so we know its towels are worth a look if you’re after something soft and absorbent.

(Dusk)

Made from 100 per cent cotton in a 400 thread count sateen weave, the Regent duvet cover has a subtle sheen and is finished with a stylish embroidered border. It’s available in a range of colours, with matching pillowcases for a coordinated look.

We’ve also tested Dusk’s bamboo 300 thread count super soft cotton duvet cover in our guide to the best bamboo sheets, so we know the brand does bedding well.
