The Secret Cinema company has thrilled pop culture fans for years with plenty of different types of excitement. From Guardians of the Galaxy and Stranger Things to Bridgerton and James Bond; Secret Cinema has thrown fans into the worlds they adore, and now they’re refining a previously visited experience. Secret Cinema have recently dropped tickets on their new venture, Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical (which you can buy right now).
No, your eyes don’t deceive you; Secret Cinema previously visited Rydell High back in 2023. I went along to the opening, and was tickled pink by its inventiveness and verisimilitude. And this year, it’s kicking off once again with a string of new features, beginning on Friday, August 1, and running through to Sunday, September 7, 2025. Taking place at Evolution London at Battersea Park, this immersive experience will “blur the line between screen and reality, and for the very first time, the entire film is brought to life all around you with actors and immersive elements seamlessly blending with the on-screen action”. What’s more, attendees will be invited to “join all the action” as soon as they enter Rydell High by following their favourite characters, cheering on the T-Birds, sharing secrets with the Pink Ladies, attending classes, and grabbing a snack at the authentic-looking 1950s American diner.
