Terrifying footage shows the moment a passenger plane plunged into an out-of-control death spiral before crashing in Brazil reportedly killing everyone onboard.

Around 61 people were aboard the Voepass Linhas Aéreas flight when it plummeted on Friday, according to the airline.

The local firefighters corps confirmed that the plane crashed in the city of Vinhedo and told the New York Times there were no survivors.

Chilling footage shared by Brazil’s TV GloboNews showed a plane spiraling out of the sky seconds before the crash.

Another angle shows the plane’s sickening descent, before a huge plume of black smoke is seen rising from the ground.

‘Voepass has activated all means to support those involved,’ a statement from the airline said. ‘There is still no confirmation of how the accident occurred or the current situation of the people on board.’

The plane was on its way from Cascavel to Guarulhos cruising at 17,000 feet when it began the sudden descent.

‘I would like everyone to stand up so that we can observe a minute of silence because a plane has just crashed in the city of Vinhedo, in São Paulo, with 58 passengers and 4 crew members and it appears they all died,’ Lula said in a statement on X.

Brazil’s Civil Defense says the plane struck several houses within the residential area, CNN Brasil reported.

Sao Paulo federal police told ABC that one resident was injured following the impact.

Hospitals in Vinhedo and Valinhos have been put on alert to receive any potential wounded.

Sao Paulo’s Governor Tarcísio de Freitas is also returning from Vitória to manage the situation, according to officials.
