Available in four colourways, shoppers say this chair is ‘perfect for lounging in the garden’.
After last week’s sizzling temperatures, many Scots are looking forward to getting back outside in their gardens as the warmer months roll in. With the days getting longer and the weather becoming slightly more settled, it’s natural to want to spend more time outdoors than in.
This can only be done if your garden is ready for the season. Whether it is for a cuppa in the morning before work or for a garden party at the weekend, it is important to have comfortable seating so you can truly make the most of your outdoor space.
Thankfully, Dunelm is selling a garden chair that has been very popular with shoppers. Priced at £35, shoppers have praised the Helsinki Lounger for its variety of colourways and relaxing design. One shopper even said it was “so comfortable they fell asleep in it”.

Alternatively, Debenhams is selling the VonHaus Verona Set of Two Folding Garden Chairs for £69.99. Providing two chairs in this deal, these loungers are said to be “zero gravity” as you can choose reclining positions of between 90 to 170 degrees.
Meanwhile, for those with the sole intention of lying down, Argos is selling the Habitat Folding Metal Sun Lounger for £35. Featuring a handy fold away design, this chair features three reclining positions so you can be at your most comfortable as you relax.
Back to the Helsinki Lounger, it currently holds a 4.4 star rating from Dunelm shoppers, many of whom has praised its relaxing feel and strong quality.
One delighted shopper wrote: “Excellent and it feels so very comfy. I even fell asleep it was so relaxing.”
With another five-star reviewer adding: “Love this sun lounger! It’s actually wider than I thought it would be so I can sit with my knees up. It’s so comfy and I’ve sat in it for hours at a time with no issues. Will deffo be buying another.”
However, some shoppers did leave mixed reviews. One person wrote: “Nice looking lounger and very comfortable. Only downside is that the colour faded within weeks and left a not so nice colour. Coral was a nice colour to start with but doesnt last. Shame but still kept it.”
While another customer noted: “Nice appearance, although I do find it awkward to recline once seated. I shall persevere because it’s probably me not being used to the action on it, lovely colour though!”
Despite this, a top reviewer praised: “Really stylish lounger looks great and perfect for lounging in the garden. Folds really well and takes up hardly any storage space.”
With a sixth shopper gushing: “I bought three of the Helsinki chairs for garden use in the summertime. The chairs are good quality, strong and easy to operate. They also don’t take up much room when they are put away.”
Shoppers can grab the Helsinki Loungers from Dunelm to be ready for the next warm spell.
