Bombshell new claims over what mystery drones seen above New Jersey and New York really are from House foreign affairs chair

The House foreign affairs chair has claimed to know what the mystery drones wreaking havoc over New Jersey and New York really are in bombshell new claims.

Michael McCaul said Tuesday that he believes some of the unidentified aircraft are ‘spy drones’ from China, after it was revealed that the communist state had been snapping up strategically placed farmland next to military installations across the US.

The attorney stressed the need to identify who is behind the drones – but said that based on is judgement and experience, he believes the drones that are ‘over our military sites are adversarial and most likely are coming from the People’s Republic of China’.

It comes after Biden administration officials brushed away any speculation and insisted many of the drones were nothing but innocent commercial aircraft.

‘We want answers but the response I’m getting is we don’t know whose drones these are,’ McCaul said before executive-branch officials offered a classified briefing to members of the House intelligence committee.

‘I was with the NASA administrator, Bill Nelson, he said that these drones have been reported over military sites, military bases. I would not think those are friendly. I would think those are adversarial,’ he added.

‘I believe they’re spy drones and the PRC and communist China is very good at this stuff. We know they bought land around military bases. This would be very consistent with their policy over the past couple years,’ he said.

‘We’re not getting answers and I think it’s because our government does not know who is behind them and that is very disturbing to me.’

‘They seem to think that most of them are American-based commercial,’ he continued.

‘It’s the ones over the military bases that i cant explain and they can’t either.’

In June, it was revealed that China had been purchasing land near military facilities across the US, raising national security fears over potential espionage or even sabotage.

Some 19 bases across the US from Florida to Hawaii which are in close proximity to land bought up by Chinese entities and could be exploited by spies working for the communist nation.

They include some of the military’s most strategically important bases: Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg) in Fayetteville, North Carolina; Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood) in Killeen, Texas; Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California, and MacDill air force base in Tampa, Florida.

Over the past few several weeks reports of mysterious drone sighting have emerged, sparking alarm among locals and authorities.

Unidentified aircraft have been reported this month above New Jersey’s Picatinny Arsenal and the state’s Naval Weapons Station Earle — and on Sunday forced the temporary closure of Stewart International Airport in New York near Poughkeepsie.

The drones, described as fixed-wing aircraft with multiple lights and wingspans of eight to 10 feet, have evaded detection, raising concerns about their origin and purpose.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has said that many of the drones are commercial – but the White House has admitted it does not know the reasons behind the recent surge in sightings.

The FBI, FAA, Pentagon and Department of Homeland Security said in a joint statement Monday that there was little reason for concern.

‘We assess that the sightings to date include a combination of lawful commercial drones, hobbyist drones, and law enforcement drones, as well as manned fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, and stars mistakenly reported as drones,’ the agencies said.

The White House said on Thursday that the drones were mostly ‘manned aircraft being operated lawfully.’

The sightings started mid-November with footage capturing 'car-sized' drones with flashing lights

Some reported sightings claimed that car-sized drones, flying over sensitive military installations and infrastructure such as railway stations.

Both the White House and FBI have said they cannot fully explain the origin of the drones and have stated they do not believe it to be sinister.

John Kirby, a national security spokesperson for the Biden administration told reporters during a Thursday press briefing: ‘We have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or a public safety threat, or have a foreign nexus.’

But following the spate of sightings, Roseanne Barr, among many others, attributed citizens’ confusion and the lack of information being provided about the staggering number of drones in the sky to something called Project Blue Beam.

‘Now you see why I mention Project Blue Beam every week on my podcast…..,’ the 72-year-old Trump-supporting actress wrote on X.

The theory has recently found traction again online as commentators and social media users claim that the US government could stage an alien invasion as a pretext for imposing authoritarian rule.

The outlandish theory is among many that have been amplified over the last week in the vacuum of information left in the wake of the Biden administration’s failure to tell the public where the drones are coming from or who is behind them.

President-elect Donald Trump on Monday accused President Biden and his subordinates of a coverup – but said that he doesn’t believe they are the work of a hostile foreign power.

‘Look, our military knows where they took off from – if it’s a garage, they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went, and for some reason they don’t want to comment,’ Trump said.

‘And I think they’d be better off saying what it is. Our military knows and our president knows. And for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense.’

‘I can’t imagine it’s the enemy,’ Trump added.

‘Because if it was the enemy, they’d blast it out — even if they were late, they’d blast it. Something strange is going on. For some reason they don’t want to tell the people, and they should.’
