This is the wild moment a crazed man caused chaos by throwing rocks at oncoming traffic on a Los Angeles freeway.

Video footage captured at 3:30am by stringer service OnSceneTV shows the bold man as he crouched on the side of the 110 freeway launching the rocks into the lanes.

The unidentified man tossed several rocks into the road close to 23rd street for unknown reasons, KTLA5 reported.

One of the rocks knocked a motorcyclist off his bike, causing him to slide far down the vast freeway lanes uncontrollably.

Luckily, he was able to get up by himself and vehicles behind him managed to avoid slamming into the biker.

The man didn’t appear to sustain any major injuries – but other cars were left with flat tires and damage from running over the loose rocks covering the freeway lanes.

After the debacle, the suspect appeared to flee the scene without being arrested or facing law enforcement.

This is not the first instance of dangerous crime on the highways of crime-ridden Los Angeles.

South American gangs armed with knives are running wild on Los Angeles highways and targeting jewelers in terrifying daytime robberies.

The criminals brazenly slash tires, shatter windows, and even plant trackers on their victims’ cars.

One jeweler, Stacy Nolan Soper, found herself in danger on October 18 as she drove home from downtown LA’s jewelry district with a bag of valuable merchandise.

Soper’s vehicle was suddenly ambushed by masked thieves on the ramp from the westbound 10 Freeway to the southbound 405.

California’s governor Gavin Newsom and LA city leadership have been slammed for a significant uptick in crime in recent months.

Interim Los Angeles Police Chief Dominic Choi said that robberies continue to ‘plague us as a crime problem’ – with more homicides so far this year compared to the same time in 2023.

Data released by LAPD shows that violent crime in the city is up 2.9 percent in March 2024 compared to the same time last year – while robberies have increased by an alarming 9.5 percent.
