Stranger Things sensation Millie Bobby Brown is poised to headline a fresh Netflix picture that’s been branded ‘Black Mirror but make it romcom.’

The British actress teams up with Gabriel LaBelle in Just Picture It, a romantic drama following two university students who are left bewildered when their phones glitch and reveal an image of themselves a decade into the future, as a married couple with children.

Currently in production, the romantic comedy also boasts The Sex Lives of College Girls star Amrit Kaur, How to Train Your Dragon’s Julian Dennison and XO, Kitty actor Anthony Keyvan.

The cast is rounded out by Orange is the New Black’s Ben Jackson Walker, Nickelodeon veteran Brec Bassinger, Wicked sensation Idina Menzel, and Emmy winner Margo Martindale.

Netflix recently turned to X, previously Twitter, to reveal that the romantic comedy has commenced filming, reports the Mirror.

The streaming giant posted a photobooth snippet of Brown and LaBelle portraying their characters Bea and Sam.

Fans were swift to express their excitement for the upcoming picture, with one response gushing: “They look so cute omg can’t wait.”

Another person added: “A phone glitch showing your future? ! That’s a CRAZYYY plot for a romcom. This sounds good ngl.”

Meanwhile a third drew parallels to another Netflix hit, writing: “Netflix really said Black Mirror but make it romcom.”

And a fourth remarked: “That’s either the cutest romcom setup ever or the creepiest tech glitch story waiting to go dark.”

Just Picture It will be helmed by Lee Toland Krieger, who previously worked as an executive producer on Netflix‘s You. He is set to team up with screenwriter Jesse Lasky.

Alongside the fresh romantic comedy, Brown is also preparing to return to her breakthrough character Eleven in the fifth and concluding series of Stranger Things, which debuts this November.

The official synopsis reveals the new episodes are set in autumn 1987 and “finds the town scarred by the opening of the rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: to find and kill Vecna.”

The 21-year-old actress is additionally developing Enola Holmes 3, reprising her role as the titular detective.

Netflix has yet to announce a release date for Just Picture It
