Terrifying footage posted to social media caught the moment a Frontier Airlines plane caught fire as it landed at a major airport.
The video posted by Tyler Herrick shows flight 1326’s undercarriage going up in flames as it touched down at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada from San Diego, California on Saturday.
Smoke started billowing from the aircraft as it continued down the runway and made a turn.
Fortunately, the video showed, firefighters were already at the scene and started spraying water before the aircraft made it to the gate.
The flight landed at Las Vegas at 3.37pm, about half an hour later than it was scheduled, according to publicly-available flight tracking information.
