Ahead of the launch of Elden Ring‘s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion in June, FromSoftware and publisher Bandai Namco have announced plans to hold a classical musical concert at the Royal Albert Hall later this month. The Elden Ring Symphonic Adventure will take place at the iconic venue on April 28. Two Elden Ring concerts will be held on the same day, beginning with a matinee performance at 1.30pm BST UK time. A second concert will take place at 6.30pm BST later that day. You can get tickets by visiting the Elden Ring Symphonic Adventure website. At the time of writing, tickets for the afternoon performance start at £76, while tickets for the evening concert are priced between £32 and £92.50.

According to concert organiser Overlook Events, the concert will feature a full philharmonic orchestra and choir.

The performers will “bring to life the epic compositions from the FromSoftware sound team”.

There will also be an immersive element to the concert, with footage from the game broadcast in time with the music.

Overlook Events explains more: “The story of Elden Ring is at the heart of the concert experience, which offers the chance to live the major stages of the game via 4K montages perfectly synchronised with the orchestra and choir, for an immersive experience of rare precision, accompanied by an original lighting design and sound effects in immersive surround technology.”

Here’s hoping we’ll get one or two songs from other FromSoftware games, such as the superb ‘Ludwig, the Holy Blade’ from Bloodborne.

Who knows, maybe we’ll even get a preview of the new music featured in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Speaking of which, Shadow of the Erdtree has a June 21 release date on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The highly-anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree expansion will take place in a brand new area called the Land of Shadow, which is said to be even bigger than Limgrave from the main game.

The Land of Shadow will be accessible by interacting with the withered hand in the cocoon located at Mohg’s boss arena. Players will be following in the footsteps of Miquella.

Needless to say, the DLC will contain new monsters, bosses, Legacy dungeons and countless landmarks for players to discover.

Developer FromSoftware explains more: “Discover uncharted territories, face formidable adversaries, and revel in the satisfying triumph of victory.

“Dive into the riveting interplay of characters, where drama and intrigue intertwine, that create an immersive experience to savor and enjoy.”
