If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, then won’t have to wait very long to find out which games will be joining the Essentials line-up in April 2024. Typically consisting of three games for PS4 and PS5, the PS Plus Essentials will be officially unveiled by Sony at 4.30pm GMT UK time on the afternoon of March 27. The PlayStation Plus games will be available to download and play on the morning of April 2, giving you a little extra time to redeem the current line-up of Sifu, Hello Neighbour 2 and F1 23 (plus the bonus Destiny 2 Witch Queen download). The games will remain in your library permanently, although you’ll only be able to access them while you’re an active PS Plus subscriber.

While the line-up will be officially unveiled on the afternoon of March 27, past reveals have been leaked early.

Daily Express will keep this article updated with any potential leaks, not to mention the official line-up once it’s announced by Sony.

In the meantime, fans have been attempting to predict the line-up over on the monthly PS Plus predictions thread on Reddit.

After correctly predicting Sifu for the March line-up – and successfully predicting many of the PS Plus Extras earlier this month – the Reddit contributors have been trying to figure out what’s next for PlayStation Plus.

The games with the most guesses include Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion and fellow Square Enix title Forspoken.

With both games feeling like solid choices, it really is only a matter of time before at least one of them joins the PS Plus Essentials line-up.

It feels like an especially good time for Crisis Core to join PS Plus, with Square Enix using the game to boost interest in FF7 Rebirth.

Other games with multiple predictions include Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Hades and Cult of the Lamb.

That’s on top of Gotham Knights, Sonic Frontiers, Metro Exodus, EA Sports FC 24, The Pathless, Dead Island 2, Deliver Us Mars, Dredge, Dead Space Remake, Hitman World of Assassination, LEGO Skywalker Saga and Madden NFL 24.

Then there are the first-party picks, such as Gran Turismo 7, God of War Ragnarok and Demon’s Souls.

With the next season of The Last of Us also filming, don’t be surprised if the remastered original comes to PS Plus at some point.
