The body of a woman has been discovered at a home in the NSW Northern Rivers town of Tweed Heads.
Emergency services were called to a home on Lakes Drive in Tweed Heads West, located on the boarder of NSW and Queensland, at 5.50pm on Wednesday following a concern for welfare report.
Police found the body of a woman, believed to be aged in her 60s, inside the home.

Following inquiries, a 25-year-old man was found with injuries on his hands at a nearby business on Kennedy Drive, Tweed Heads West.
He was taken to Tweed Heads Hospital for treatment under police guard and charged with murder after being discharged.
He was refused bail and expected to appear in court on Thursday.
