Al Ula hold Horseback Archery World Cup 2023

Al Ula hold Horseback Archery World CupWorld Cup 2023 for horseback archery was concluded in the Saudi city of history and heritage, Al-Ula, on Monday, from December 16 to 18, with the big opening ceremony participation of a large number of riders representing the countries: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Syria-Mongolia Indonesia, Thailand, the USA, Canada, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Iran.

The tournament, which was attended by His Highness Prince Abdullah bin Fahd, President of the Saudi Equestrian Federation, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Noah Al Thani, Secretary-General of the Qatar Equestrian Federation, and the World Horseback Archery Federation., Chairman: GM Kim Youngsup, Yousuf Ali Alhooti
Vice Chairman of Administration Affairs, Fuad Almudahk, Head of Organizational Committee, Ali Ghoorchian
Head of Academy and Training, and several sports personalities attended the event.

The result of Al Ula Horseback Archery World Cup 2023‪ best three overall team performances are:
First place: Saudi Arabia;

second place: Kazakhstan; and

third place: Iran.

The tournament was distinguished by its exceptional organization by the Saudi Equestrian Federation, which highlighted the city of Al-Ula as a global equestrian destination. The event attracted fans of this sport from all over the world to witness a unique blend of excitement and suspense in a charming desert environment.

The skills of the riders intertwined with the beauty and strength of their horses against the backdrop of the enchanting desert terrain. This fusion represented Saudi Arabia’s rich culture and appreciation for equestrianism as an integral part of its heritage. The championship, embodying both sports and cultural values, reflected the Saudi spirit in welcoming and organizing international events.

In conclusion, participants expressed their appreciation for the excellent organization and hospitality, affirming that this championship stands out as one of the highlights in the global equestrian calendar for this year.
