There’s good news and bad news for PC gamers, because while the incredible Steam Autumn Sale is coming to an end, another big sale isn’t far behind.

Featuring big discounts on hundreds and hundreds of games, the Steam Autumn Sale ends at 6pm BST UK time on October 6.

Needless to say, if you’ve got a lengthy Steam Wishlist, you might want to hurry and visit the store before the sale comes to an end.

If you do miss out on the Steam Autumn Sale, then the good news is that another major Steam sale takes place later in the month.

Indeed, the 2025 Steam Scream Fest kicks off on October 27, just in time for Halloween.

The 2025 Steam Scream Fest runs from 6pm UK time on October 27 until the same time on November 3.

As the name suggests, the Steam Scream Fest will focus almost exclusively on horror games.

Expect big discounts on titles from the Resident Evil series, as well as the Alan Wake games, Silent Hill 2, R.E.P.O, Ready or Not, Dead by Daylight and lots more.

As one of the major annual sales, don’t be surprised if a few other heavy-hitters receive discounts.

Elsewhere, Steam will hold the latest Next Fest event from October 13 until October 20. Next Fest events give gaming fans the chance to check out demos of new and upcoming games.

As for the Steam Autumn Sale, the event features some unbelievable deals, especially in the Deep Discounts section.

The Steam Deep Discounts section includes a fantastic deal on Ubisoft’s Far Cry Primal, which is reduced to just £2.49. That’s a lot of game for less than £3.

Likewise, former game of the year winner Control Ultimate Edition is down to just £3.29. The Ultimate Edition contains the base game as well as The Foundation and UWE expansions.

Elsewhere, first-person shooter fans can grab Doom Eternal for £3.49, which is a bargain for a game with a 91% user score on Steam.
