A car fire led to multiple large explosions near a Sikh temple in Sacramento on Monday afternoon, according to officials.
The incident was reported out of the Gurdwara Sacramento Sikh Society at around 3:40 p.m. local time, according to a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office.
A member of the temple said that a car on the property caught fire before spreading to a propane cylinder near the building, according to KCRA 3.
Fire officials later confirmed that propane tanks were likely responsible for the explosions.
Fortunately, anyone who had been inside the temple appeared to have left the building by the time the damage was done.

No injuries have been reported, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and fire officials.
Traffic is blocked off along Gerber Road and Bradshaw Road, where the temple is located.
